Hidetoshi Oomori

About

Oomori Hidetoshi was born November 5, 1959 in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. He is a long-time animator, animation supervisor, storyboarder, designer and director. Oomori was working as animation supervisor on shows like Zeta Gundam and Char's Counterattack. In 1987 he made his directorial debut with the Robot Carnival short Deprive, which was highly regarded for its action sequences, the 80's feel and bizarre design work. He was working at Sunrise, before going freelance for a few years and currently works for Studio Pastoral. (Source: AniDB)
