Born in Suita, Osaka Prefecture, Taro Hakase is a Japanese musician who specializes as a violinist. He is perhaps best known for playing the violin on Céline Dion's song "To Love You More" which appears on the US edition of her Let's Talk About Love album. His wife is Japanese actress Mayuko Takata. He also produced the album, Symphonic Poem "Hope," the main theme from Final Fantasy XII.
