Motosuke Takahashi

About

Takahashi Motosuke (January 11, 1941 - November 8, 2007) was an animator, character designer and director from Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. After graduating from Miyagi-ken Ishinomaki High School he went to Nippon Design College but left before graduating. Afterwards he joined Tatsunoko Production in August 1966 where he was a designer in the advertising department of the company but later became professional animator. In 1975 he left Tatsunoko and became freelance animator and character designer. Afterwards much of his work was done on Sunrise anime. In 1979 he founded Studio Dootaku (スタジオドオタク) and became its representative director. (Source: AniDB)
